The German carmaker, BMW Indonesia has reported 111 units cars sold during the auto show 18th Indonesia International Motor Show – IIMS 2010 which ended on Sunday, August 1, 2010. The biggest sales of the BMW Series 3 were obtained with 64 units, followed by BMW X1 with 27 units and the new BMW 5 Series with 20 units.
Ramesh Divyanathan, President Director of BMW Indonesia said that BMW were satisfied with their participation in the auto show IIMS 2010. BMW is the only premium car brand that communicates a clear vision of a friendly environment with the theme “Joy Is Efficient and Dynamics.” BMW Pavilion, occupies an area of 362 square meters in Hall D5, Jakarta International Expo – Kemayoran, featuring four new models of BMW 5 Series, BMW Gran Turismo, BMW X1, BMW X5 M – and two other models of BMW Series 7 and Series 3.
The clean white of BMW Pavilion appearance with all the BMW cars in Alpine White color, depicting BMW Indonesia’s commitment to continuously reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions in the earth, but still to increasing driving pleasure.
National auto market is also enthusiastically welcomed the introduction of BMW Advanced Diesel in IIMS 2010. Half of the sales of the BMW X1 in auto show are diesel cars. BMW managed to start a paradigm shift and the perception of diesel cars in Indonesia. Ramesh Divyanatahn also praised the efforts of the BMW authorized dealers who have successfully booked sales during the IIMS 2010.
