Toyota is ready to hit Small car segment in India unveil their small car for Indian car market Toyota EFC (Emerging Family Car). Toyota EFC will be launched at end of year 2010. Toyota EFC will be competitor for a Maruti Suzuki Swift and equally prized car.

Car was shown at Auto Expo Delhi 2010 in January and car will be available in two variant hatchback and notchback version. Three boxes cars are called Notchback. Company is planning to fit 1200 or 1300 cc Petrol engine or 1400 cc diesel engine.
Expected price of Toyota EFC is 7000$ and in Indian currency its around 3 to 4 lakh segment car. According to source Toyota ensures that interior of EFC would be good and provide additional services like GPS Tracking System, Music System etc so EFC would be a great choice of Users.

Toyota FT-CH Concept Car

Toyota announce new hybrid concept car at 2010 North American International Auto Show. The Toyota FT-CH dedicated hybrid concept car planned and designed in Europe and engineered with cutting edge electric drive technology, the FT-CH is a concept that addresses Toyota’s mission to develop a ‘Prius family’ of vehicles that will grow to include plug-in hybrids, battery electrics, and a few years down the road, hydrogen fuel cells.For the FT-CH's styling, Toyota designers at its European Design and Development center in Nice, France, aimed to appeal to the younger buyers. Drawing inspiration from eight-bit video games of the 1980s, designers gave the concept a fun, innovative and colorful look. Car is equipped with GPS Navigation system.

The FT-CH enthusiastic hybrid concept vehicle is the newest addition to Toyota’s comprehensive advanced technology vehicle line up. With Hybrid Synergy Drive as its core technology, Toyota is exploring many solutions for the future of mobility – from battery electric vehicles, to plug-in hybrids, to fuel cell hybrids, to conventional hybrids like the FT-CH concept.If a production car based on the FT-CH concept were to be built, it will be cheaper than the Prius and will be part of a new Prius family marketing strategy that Toyota also announced at the Detroit show. To take advantage of the widespread recognition of the Prius name, Toyota plans to develop additional dedicated models to fall under the branding.

New Toyota FT-86 Concept Car

The Toyota is going to launch a FT-86 concept, The Japanese famous automaker company Toyota has shown the world the highly anticipated successor car AE86 with the FT-86 Concept.The FT-86 that is known as “hachi roku” a compact rear-wheel-drive sports car, provides driving joy and excitement to the driver.

The new FT-86 concept was designed by the very popular automaker company ED2 styling studio in France. The Toyota Motor Corporation presents this FT-86 Concept at the 41st Motor Show in Tokyo 2009.

When designing the FT-86 Concept the Toyota company engineers wanted to give a very low center of gravity to the car for improved handling and efficient aerodynamics so that this car can cut through the air easily.

Feature of FT-86 concept car-

FT-86 concept car has dimension about 4,160 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and 1,260 mm tall and wheelbase of 2,570 and embedded a box which have six gear that give good support to the car.

FT-86 concept car is powered by a 2.0 Liter capacity with four cylinder gasoline engine that produce maximum 150 HP. this car is compact design that gives driver greater control, while body’s lightness and low center of gravity.

This is the base model that has flash Red body color contains hint of blue and the interior expresses modern is so good that feel with minimal coverage of the highly refined structural components evoking enthusiasm for cruising.
