New York Auto Show: Nissan Leaf NISMO RC

Nissan will soon unveil the racing variant electric vehicle to the world car market named as Nissan Leaf NISMO RC in the coming New York Auto Show. The NISMO will come with a lithium battery pack and badging from a stock Leaf. The lithium battery pack has been relocated at the middle of the vehicle for better weight distribution. The total weight of this NISMO RC is about 2068 pounds and is 40 percent lighter than the production Leaf. This racing Leaf is a foot shorter and 6.7 inches wider, and with a scant 2.4 inches of ground clearance.

Nissan implied well LED lighting system with driver adjustable rear wings. When the Leaf NISMO RC is in motion, its 80kW AC motor generates 107 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. Nissan also says this Leaf is only for demonstrate purpose and don't expect that this model would be complete any time soon. It can go upto 0-60 mph in 6.85 seconds and it shows a top speed of 93 mph. Next up for the NISMO Leaf is a series of planned appearances at various motorsports venues in 2011. Nissan also said that it is somewhat serious about a zero-emission racing series.

New York Auto Show: One achievement to show new model Cars

The New York Auto Show is going to begin from 22nd April-1st May. This will be one Grand Show to make the debut of different new cars towards the public. Among the different models, mostly those models which have planned to make their debut include :- 2012 Subaru Impreza, Hyundai Accent, Chevy Malibu, Nissan Versa, Volkswagen Beetle, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, Mercedes A-Class Concept, Scion FT-86, Lexus LF-Gh Concept and more. Detroit Auto Show 2011: C Class Mercedes

The C Class Mercedes didn’t come with more exciting look in the famous Detroit Auto Show. According to Telegraph, the C Class Mercedes will come with a starting price of £25,515 and is going to sell from this March. 

There will be 3 models of this C Class Mercedes. The first one is 156bhp C180 which will come with the above price, the second one is 170bhp 220 CDi BlueEfficiency, which will cost £27,870 and the last one 204bhp C250 CDI turbodiesel, the cost will be £33,265.

The new C-class range will now come with a seven-speed torque converter autobox.

According to Autoweek, this car will be sold in the US in both sedan and wagon variants with direct-injection gasoline engines.
