Chevrolet is a brand of automobile produced by General Motors , this company known for manufacturing of world class cars, Chevrolet is founded by Louis Chevrolet and GM motors founder William C. Durant. Chevrolet was acquired by General Motors in 1917 and it become part of General Motors.

After that this car keeps going on, even if you can't plug it in.The Chevrolet Volt has a 16 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that can be fully charged by plugging the car into a 120-240VAC residential electrical outlet.

Chevrolet Volt car will produce in model one that is gas and other one is Hybrid and the last one is electric model. This car is recently launched into the Indian auto expo 2010 and Chevrolet Volt will be explore in the market in the end of 2011. The price of the Chevrolet Volt car is expected to $40,000 and a GPS vehicle tracking system also embedded with that car.
